Army

As part of the Army’s commemorations of the centenary of the First World War, they have developed a programme of support to schools. This has two major elements:

• First World War learning resources aimed at secondary school learners
• Soldiers to Schools: the option for secondary schools to request a soldier to support teaching activities within the classroom

Historical Association

The Historical Association site has a number of secondary history teaching resources from Key Stage 3 up to A Level. The site also includes teacher development resources, CPD and Quality Mark information.

Teachit is a tried and trusted education resource used by thousands of teachers. Teachit History is Teachit's new secondary site. Specialising in History from 11-18, the libraries offer nearly 2000 pages of materials, all created by classroom teachers and constantly growing.
