Published on Monday, 24 May 2021

For businesses looking to get a step in the right direction this summer Birmingham City University are continuing with the successful ‘Enterprise For Success’ programme, offering small and medium-sized businesses free business leadership, marketing and strategy workshops throughout June.

As part of the ‘Enterprise For Success’ 4-part virtual workshop programme, Birmingham City University Business School are offering a free analysis, and personalised report highlighting your business growth opportunities and challenges. The current programme is running from 1st-22nd June.

The Enterprise for Success programme is funded by the Greater Birmingham and Solihull Local Enterprise Partnership and part-funded by the European Regional Development Fund.

From analysing your purpose, vision and values and creating an effective marketing campaign to learning how to think more strategically as a leader – the workshops cover a whole host of important skills and techniques when growing a successful business.

Lorraine Duffy, Managing Director of activewear brand ‘Getting Dirty Ltd’ participated in this year’s first cohort of workshop attendees and had this to say about the programme:

‘The workshops are incredibly well delivered and I appreciated the friendly tone throughout. Both of the lecturers involved had very successful corporate business experience which added to this course’s impact. They have been there and done it; they know what works and what doesn’t. Invaluable advice’

Head of Programme Delivery and expert in SME growth, Professor Mark Gilman said: “It’s a great privilege to continue bringing the Enterprise for Success programme to local businesses this summer.

“With many businesses starting to open up this programme is ideal, whether you need to create a new strategy, re-assess your marketing priorities or build your leadership experience, Enterprise for Success is designed to help you.”
