CSI Opts for Birmingham Business Park for new Regional HQ

Published on Tuesday, 24 July 2018

CSI has agreed a ten-year lease on 16,000 sq ft at the self-contained 2940 Trident Court with landlord BlackRock UK Property Fund. The lease also includes 84 car parking spaces.

The company has consolidated its Coleshill and Coventry offices in to the new location.

Birmingham Business Park is celebrating its 30th anniversary. The first phase of the scheme was developed by Arlington in 1988 and comprised just seven buildings. Today, there are more than 300 units, providing two million sq ft of commercial space let to more than 120 companies, including Rolls Royce, IMI, Fujitsu, Changan Automotive, Uniper, EE, BT and Goodyear Dunlop.

More than 90 per cent of the business park is currently occupied.

Victoria Burnett, senior surveyor office agency at JLL, said: “CSI is a great addition to the Park’s impressive list of occupiers, which includes a number of major global brands.

“The Park is now enjoying its lowest ever vacancy rate, and we have a healthy pipeline of interest in the remaining space.  The fact that Birmingham Business Park continues to both attract new occupiers and retain existing tenants is testament to its location, the quality of the on-site amenities and sense of community it offers.”

Joint agents on Birmingham Business Park are JLL, GVA and KWB.
