Provision of Quality Assurance Monitoring of GBS LEP Growth Hub
Published on Tuesday, 18 October 2016
The Growth Hub aims to be the central point of contact for small and medium-sized businesses across the LEP area who are looking for support to enable their business to grow. Growth may take many forms, in particular job creation, the launch of new products or services, international trade, increased value added or productivity.
There are two aspects of the Growth Hub’s service which the management team now wishes to monitor to ensure that the service is effective an meeting the needs of local businesses wherever possible:
• Firstly, the initial enquiry handling by the Growth Hub advisors at Birmingham Chamber of Commerce
• Secondly, actions by business support providers who have received referrals from the Growth Hub team
The Growth Hub management team wishes to obtain feedback from the individuals who have used the service and received at least one hour of support and/or been referred to a provider. They also wish to understand basic demographics of the individuals using the service (in particular ethnicity and gender) and to know whether there are any immediate correlations between the demographics and the effectiveness of the service.
