Siemens expands its base in Solihull

Published on Thursday, 04 February 2016

The re-gear of its current lease means that Siemens now occupies a total of 9,339 sq ft in Cornwall House, which it has occupied since 2009.

Robin Hancock from Siemens, said: “Blythe Valley Park provides us with a great building and environment that suits our needs at a premium business park.

“The proximity to Solihull and easy accessibility to the M42 motorway has always been appealing and we are very pleased to have completed this deal with IM Properties to expand our occupation and secure this space for a further five years.”

Rob Hemus of IM Properties said: “Siemens has been an established occupier at Blythe Valley for seven years and we’re delighted that we’ve been able to secure their presence at Cornwall House until 2020.

“The out of town office market is improving and we will be undertaking further refurbishment and improvement works across the park to maintain and drive Blythe Valley Park forward as the number one business park in the Midlands.’’

With Siemens taking further space, this now leaves only one 2,000 sq ft suite remaining in Cornwall House.
