Job Purpose
An exciting opportunity for an Administration Lead to join the SEND team.
Main Responsibilites
To deliver a high quality administrative business and finance support function for the service including the monitoring and allocation of work to meet agreed service levels and deadlines.
To maintain efficient data management systems for service delivery related to the service and finance.
To provide regular detailed financial information to the Team Manager and Team Leaders as required.
To resolve complex and difficult enquiries related to business and finance in a timely manner.
To build and maintain customer relationships by proactively responding to service business and finance issues.
To continually review and actively seek ways of improving administrative processes to ensure that they are as effective and as efficient as possible.
To respond to and resolve customer complaints in a timely manner.
To actively contribute to the overall development of the service as a member of the leadership team.
To contribute actively to working groups and project teams as appropriate.
To act as the first point of contact for dealing with enquiries from schools and other customers and partners, either face to face, by telephone, written or electronic communication.
Experience and Skills
NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Business Administration or be able to demonstrate appropriate experience in a similar role.
Significant prior experience within an administrative role.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to build relationships with a wide range of partners and customers.
Experience of using a range of IT systems including MS Office (or similar).
An eye for detail and a problem solving work ethic.
