Job Purpose
To provide a wide range of technical and audit support tasks to Internal Auditors and Investigators within the team.
Main Responsibilites
General, technical and administrative support for Audit Reviews, Counter Fraud work and Investigations, for example:
*Analyse financial data and reports including budgets, income & expenditure, performance reports, key policies.
*Obtain documents for audit review e.g. invoices, expense claims, overtime claims and other working papers relevant to a review.
*Proof read audit reports.
*Maintain a database of counter fraud activity.
*Assist senior staff with counter fraud investigations.
*Prepare documents to support investigations.
*General office administration (maintain files / working papers / ordering goods and services).
Experience and Skills
*Experience of working in a team or department or other public sector organisation.
*Ability to evaluate and interpret numerical data .
*Working knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, Outlook and Scheduler.
Qualification
5 GCSEs grades A-C including Maths & English at Grade B or above
