Why did you become an Enterprise Adviser?

Having worked closely with the education sector for over 15 years and being a family man myself, it's important to me that I'm able to offer my career support and experience to students in order to help prepare them for today’s working world. I’m motivated to lead engagement within schools and colleges to help guide our youth on the right path and ensure they explore all the possible career options open to them.
I believe becoming an Enterprise Advisor is a fantastic way to give something back to the community, particularly in these turbulent and uncertain times to raise the current standard of career guidance across Solihull.

What do you enjoy most in your role as an Enterprise Adviser?

As an Enterprise Advisor, I enjoy collaborating and sharing ideas and visions with senior leaders, something I’m already well accustomed to in my job role. Inspiring students within Greswold Primary is highly rewarding, particularly through offering my own expertise to motivate and support students in the future choices they make as well as show them what’s to be expected of them within the work place. This is all to ensure they fulfil their maximum potential.

Overview of your chosen career or career pathway to your current role.

I'm currently a director of a highly successful, rapidly growing telecommunications company that has been delivering bespoke solutions to the education sector for over 15 years. As a company we're proud to offer our support where we can to the community. We sponsor well-loved charities such as Help Harry Help Others as well as more recently sponsoring the upcoming Greener Solihull Schools Award as well as a Ward at the Solihull Hospital for Christmas. We love to get involved where we can and give back to Solihull.
