Solihull Youth Employment Promise

If you are aged 16*-29 and currently not in education, employment or training, Solihull Youth Employment Promise may be able to help you to achieve your goals.  (* or aged 15 and a school leaver)

Solihull Council Employment and Skills team and its partners, Experts by Experience Solihull, Colebridge Trust and Solihull Independent Travel Training have a number of teams working across the project who will help to support you on your journey.

We will provide you with support, advice and guidance to help you move into employment, education or training, including;

·       Finding jobs, training and education courses

·       Confidence building

·       Support to build your CV

·       Interview skills

·       Links with local employers

·       Travel Training

·       Meeting venues in the North and South of the borough

·       Overcoming barriers, including disability and mental health, with one to one support

Experts by Experience Solihull, specialise in supporting young people with disabilities, or mental health needs. They will support with engagement, stabilisation, confidence building, and preparing young people to become ready for their next step.
