Approx. £8.30 per hour, dependant on experience and qualifications
Opportunity for additional hours which would be paid at £7.75 per hour and £8.00 per hour for weekend work.

Job Purpose
We are looking to recruit 2 Senior Care Givers to compliment and grow our existing team. You will be able to manage a team of Care Givers and be comfortable making decisions and responding positively to changing situations. We are looking for professionals who are team players but able to work independently with the ability to draw on their experience and knowledge to become effective decision makers.
Main Responsibilites
•Develop and maintain positive relationships with Clients, Caregivers and the Office Staff.
•Maintain clear lines of communication, both written and verbal, at all times
•Ensure that confidentiality is promoted and maintained upheld at all times
•Update Client information and appropriately raise and issues or concerns with the Care Manager
•Attend the Weekly Seniors Meeting
•Responsible for Quality Assurance checks, identify areas of concern
•Responsible for a team of Caregivers
•Spot Checks in line with training and Quality Assurance process
•Maintain and update the MARS sheets in line with the Medication Policy
•Participate in Out of hours rota cover
Experience and Skills
•Previous experience within the care industry essential
•Have a working knowledge of policies and procedures and able to demonstrate practical application of this knowledge.
•Able to effectively manage staff and be able to respond when situations change
•Understanding of issues relating to older people

Own transport essential for this role
Enhanced DBS Check essential for this role
Qualification
Level 2 in Health & Social Care and ideally be working towards Level 3
