A Local PR and Marketing company is looking to expand their team. They are specialists in PR. The company teach other businesses to make the best of media and PR opportunities to grow their businesses. Due to continued growth, they are now seeking a Marketing and Social Media Assistant. Initially the company will give the candidate the opportunity to complete a work experience for a maximum of 8 weeks with the opportunity to progress onto an apprenticeship.
The business is looking for an individual with a keen interest in Social Media and online marketing PR. Full training will be given.

Main Responsibilites

• To write daily articles and blogs
• To update social media sites i.e. Facebook page, twitter, linked in
• To connect with potential Joint Venture partners for webinars
• To connect with groups who use speakers at their events
• To connect with Franchisors for a new project
• To connect with council departments for business events
• To connect with journalists
• To confirm telephone appointments
• To create Facebook ads
• To update website copy and create new landing pages

Experience and Skills

• Ability to demonstrate usage of majority of Social Media and on line connectivity tools
• Enthusiastic approach to social media.
• Systems used
• Infusionsoft, word press, joomla, optimize press. stealth webinar

• Would be ideal if candidates have a strong marketing and social media interest. Will need to be able to demonstrate writing skills and ability to learn quickly. On going training will be given for the right person. Candidates with sales backgrounds would be considered suitable, however not essential as long as they are confident to pick up the phone to speak to prospects
