Job Purpose

To care for Clients at the Day Centre for aged 55+

Main Responsibilites

To give care and supervise clients, promoting their independence.

To observe and record any changes in a client’s physical and emotional needs.

Assist clients with toileting, if required.

To set up and run a variety of activities, suitable for the client group.

To set up and serve refreshments throughout the day.

To assist with the setting up of the dining room for meals, including serving and assisting clients.

To undertake training as required meeting current legislation.

Experience and Skills

NVQ2 care sector qualification
Previous experience in similar environment would be advantageous.
Experience in dealing with elderly people beneficial.
Be able to work within a team
