Job Purpose
To provide clerical and administrative support to the Council’s Environmental Services Division to assist in the delivery and future development of the service.
This will include helping to coordinate electronic, telephone and postal correspondence from our customers. Participating, assisting and recording of contract and stakeholder meetings, collating inputting and organising data and contractual information and providing general administrative support to the service.
Main Responsibilites
* To process requests for services from customers and relevant stakeholders.
* Effective resolution of customer complaints escalating issues to the relevant Team Leader/Manager as appropriate.
* Collating and inputting service data onto spreadsheets and data bases.
* Coordinating and prioritising customer enquires in electronic, telephone and postal formats.
* Assisting the Environmental Services Team with management and stakeholder liaison meetings, by arranging and planning meetings and attending to record meeting outcomes.
Experience and Skills
* Significant experience of office administration.
* Proven experience of working in a customer focused environment.
* Experience of creating and maintaining information management systems for performance and data analysis.
* Ability to organise and prioritise workload to meet conflicting deadlines.
Qualification
Relevant Level 3 qualification (i.e. Business Admin or able to demonstrate this knowledge through extended experience or training)
